Education
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of Grade C (or equivalent) in GCSE Maths and English and ideally hold an NVQ Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools. Fluency in spoken English is essential for this role.

Job Specifics
We are looking for a caring and proactive Teaching Assistant to support learning across the primary curriculum, with a particular focus on English and Maths. You’ll work alongside the class teacher to deliver lessons, assist pupils in small groups or individually, and help reinforce learning objectives.
Your role will include providing targeted support for pupils with additional needs, including those with SEN and EAL. You’ll help manage classroom behaviour, promote inclusion, and support pupils’ social and emotional development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering planned lessons
- Helping pupils stay focused and engaged
- Adapting resources and activities to meet individual needs
- Supporting pupils in understanding instructions and completing tasks
- Encouraging positive relationships and inclusive learning
