Education

A relevant UK teaching qualification is required to deliver the national curriculum effectively.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

• Relevant UK teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Experience

Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting. Experience delivering the national curriculum across KS1 or KS2. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills. Experience planning, delivering and assessing lessons effectively. Ability to differentiate learning to meet a range of needs, including SEND.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum

• Assess and track student progress

• Manage classroom behaviour effectively

• Adapt teaching to meet different learning needs
