Education

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field. A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification with a secondary specialisation is highly desirable.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or internationally recognised equivalent
  • Degree in Business, Economics, or a closely related subject

Experience

At least one year of secondary teaching experience in the UAE is strongly preferred. Candidates should have demonstrable experience teaching Business and/or Economics at GCSE and A-Level within a British curriculum setting.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver stimulating Business and Economics lessons at secondary level
  • Bring real-world context and current affairs into the classroom
  • Prepare pupils for GCSE and A-Level examinations with targeted support
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress, setting stretch targets where appropriate
  • Build strong professional relationships with pupils and parents
  • Contribute positively to the Humanities or Business faculty and school events
