Education

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Physics or a closely related scientific discipline. A postgraduate teaching qualification such as a PGCE with secondary science or physics specialisation is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or internationally recognised equivalent
• Degree in Physics or related Science discipline

Experience

At least one year of secondary teaching experience in the UAE is strongly preferred. Candidates should be confident delivering Physics up to A-Level or equivalent within a British curriculum school.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons from Key Stage 3 through to A-Level
• Design practical experiments and investigations that bring Physics to life
• Prepare pupils effectively for GCSE and A-Level examinations
• Track, assess, and report on pupil progress using data-informed approaches
• Contribute to the Science department and wider school community
• Support pupils with extended learning and revision outside core lesson time
